Thank You All For Your Continued Support!!
We have had another fantastic year raising awareness and resources for Veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Again, this year, the PTSD Foundation of America was the beneficiary of the net proceeds from the Charity’s 2018 three events.
We are honored to inform you that a $250,000 check was presented in December 2018 to them representing funds raised in 2018. The Grateful Americans Charity’s donations to the PTSD Foundation of America now total $640,000 in just the past three years!

PAST FUNDRAISING EVENTS
2018 Los Angeles "Star Spangled Gala" Charity Gala and Auctions EXCEED EXPECTATIONS!
The Los Angeles "Star Spangled Gala", our first ever event in California, kicked off 2018 in GAC style with a VIP Reception, Gala and Auctions. Some of the evening highlights were:
A significant focus on our military and the effects of PTSD. A powerful message was delivered of educating the public on the issues facing our Veterans and the stigma surrounding PTSD.
David Maulsby with the PTSD Foundation of America, along with guest speakers from Camp Hope, shared inspiring accounts and personal experiences that were both touching and emotional with the audience. They brought to life the impact Camp Hope has made not only in their lives personally, but the lifesaving supports they provide on a daily basis to our Veterans.
GAC was recognized and received several accommodations from City Officials and the LA Mayor's office regarding our mission of spreading awareness of PTSD. Numerous individuals from various backgrounds are joining the GAC mission and growing the LA GAC Chapter!
2018 HOUSTON “Strike Out PTSD” Charity Gala, Auctions And GOLF TOURNAMENT EXCEED EXPECTATIONS!
Minute Maid Park, the Home of the World Champion Astro’s, was the setting of the 2018 Houston “Strike Out PTSD” Charity Gala and Auctions. The Gala included a cocktail reception, dinner, entertainment, casino play, along with silent and live auctions.
We were honored to have the Cypress Woods High School ROTC , Cypress, Texas perform very impressive Color Guard and POW/MIA presentations. These young leaders were extremely professional and made us all very proud to be an American. We also enjoyed fun stories from legendary Houston Astro, Art Howe.
The 2018 Charity Golf Tournament was held on Tuesday, September 25th at The Club at Carlton Woods (Nicklaus Course) in the Woodlands.
As with all of our events, the major primary purpose is to bring attention to the needs of all Veterans, especially those suffering from the effects of PTSD. Representatives of the PTSD Foundation of America provided personal experiences facing our Veterans and the stigma surrounding PTSD, as well as the Hope provided by the Foundation!.

2017 SAN ANTONIO funding raising event RESULTS!
We are also proud to inform you that at our inaugural San Antonio Charity Golf Tournament we raised over $20,000 (net of expenses) for the PTSD Foundation of America!
The 2017 Houston Charity Gala and Auctions were held at the Hilton Americas on November 12, 2017. The 2017 Charity Golf Tournament was held on November 13, 2017 at the prestigious Carlton Woods Fazio Course in the Woodlands.
The 2017 and 2018 events provided numerous opportunities to expand awareness of the struggles Veterans face every day, as well as raise much needed funds for Veterans housing, counseling and other important services provided by the PTSD Foundation of America. We could not have been this successful in our first year as a charity without the outstanding community support, fantastic sponsors, attendees, players and volunteers. We hope you will join us at our upcoming 2019 fundraising events.
